Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 14 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and of the text messaging program described below, both operated by e-Medical Education, LLC ("e-Med", "we", "us"). By using this website or by consenting to receive text messages from us, you agree to these terms.
Use of the Student Information System itself by a medical school, its staff, or its students is governed by the separate agreement between e-Med and that institution, not by these terms.
Use of this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, interfere with its operation, or use it to send unsolicited communications.
Text messaging program
- Program description. Where a medical school uses the SMS features of the Student Information System, e-Med sends text messages on that institution's behalf. Messages consist of one-time verification codes, status updates, and reminders relating to your dealings with that institution.
- Consent. You will receive messages at a mobile number only after express consent has been given for that number, either by agreeing on screen within the application or by agreeing to a statement read aloud to you by staff. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of any application.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving messages. You will receive a confirmation, after which no further messages will be sent to that number unless you opt in again.
- Help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us using the details below.
- Delivery. Delivery of text messages depends on your mobile carrier's network and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Personal information collected through this website or through the text messaging program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile telephone numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, images, and the Student Information System software, is owned by e-Med or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
This website and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, e-Med is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of your use of this website or of the text messaging program.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
