e-Med is an international company specializing in the creation, delivery, support, maintenance, and administration of all aspects of distance medical education. e-Med's mission is to facilitate the education of large numbers of doctors, in any geographic location, more efficiently, more effectively, and at a lower cost than is currently the case in traditional private medical schools. Chairman's Statement:
With the worldwide shortage of doctors (including the rural and underserved areas in highly-developed countries) and a large corps of experienced allied health professionals with the drive to become doctors but who never had the opportunity, it seemed reasonable to try to find a solution to both sets of circumstances.
The advent of Distance Learning prompted me to investigate how this innovation might effectively be used in a medical school setting. Contrary to trends and tradition, we partnered with a country to form a medical school, making it possible for medical students there and in select other countries to fulfill their dreams of becoming doctors without leaving their home community, no matter how remote. Our process and curriculum have now been proven, with the school gaining international accreditation and graduating doctors who now are practicing in several countries, including the United States.
The ability of medical students to communicate and collaborate on a regular basis with other students, professional colleagues, and faculty throughout the world has added another important dimension to their education and to their effectiveness no matter where in the world they practice medicine.
Having the ability to custom design a medical education program for the benefit of any country or any institution, at far lower cost than was previously possible, allows us to meet the significant challenges facing physician education and training throughout the world.

An author, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as well as a former educator, Ms. Gould has dedicated the past decade to addressing health issues around the world. She founded e-Medical Education LLC in 2000, negotiated the company's relationship with the Government of Samoa to create and operate a medical school there, and is now in talks with leaders of other countries to replicate the model in those locations.

With experience as a practicing Intellectual Property attorney, co-founder and COO of a nationally-recognized distance education company, and with an extensive knowledge of software platforms and web application development, Greg brings a common-sense business approach to workflow design and systems architecture. Greg's involvement in any project ensures that all the pieces will fit together well, and work as intended. Greg graduated from Harvard University, and holds a JD from Vermont Law School.
